I enjoy working with clay because it allows me to do two of my favorite things; playing and exploring.  Being a curious person by nature, when I begin a piece I liken it to embarking on a new adventure. I might have an idea but sometimes the clay takes on a life of its own and if I stay open to the possibilities I often find something extraordinary happens. I find inspiration all around me and often my pieces reflect my own journey of self-discovery.
